Alternatively, you could take a rolling 30-day deal and avoid broadband bills while you’re home from uni over the summer – this type of contract is super flexible and easy to cancel when you no longer need our student WiFi.

An Intelligent WiFi Hub will be provided with all our broadband deals for students. Designed to automatically fix WiFi issues and bring you better coverage, the Hub has an Airtime Fairness smart feature built-in which helps to share the WiFi evenly across all your connected devices.

Monthly cost

Did you know? Our longer broadband packages for students may work out cheaper. This June, see if you can pay a lower monthly cost for our broadband on a 12-month contract compared to our rolling 30-day deals.

Setup cost

Our kit comes included at no extra cost. There’s a £0 setup fee. And a £0 rolling contract fee applies to our flexible 30-day student WiFi deals.

Student discount broadband isn’t something we’ll be able to offer as we can’t accept student discount cards, like TOTUM or UniDAYS. But here’s the good news – you’ll get access to all the rewards and perks on Priority, something uniquely special that no other UK student WiFi deals can promise.

We do also offer rolling contract deals for non-students which offer the same flexibility and variety of speeds. But yes – the deals you’ll soon see at the top of this page will only be available to students with an ‘ac.uk’ email address.

Our 30-day student broadband deals can keep you connected for nine months, or however long you need. Come back in June and select your package, then let it roll over automatically each month – easy! When you’re ready, you can cancel with just 30-days’ notice.

Yes! At checkout, it’ll be easy to add TV to our student broadband. For just £5 a month, on a rolling 30-day contract, Flex offers 150+ free-to-air channels and catch-up players like iPlayer on our Ultra HD TV box. The cherry on top? This TV deal gives you 10% credit back when you add your favourite entertainment subscriptions, like Netflix, TNT Sports or Sky Cinema, to your package. Simply turn these subscriptions on or off each month, you’re in control of any extra spending.

Always unlimited! All our broadband packages, including any for students, will have no broadband data allowance for you to worry about, freeing you up to concentrate on what’s really important – your learning, streaming and connecting with loved ones online.

Be ready for our deals to come in June. This means using our postcode checker to make sure you can get our broadband in your area and discussing your student WiFi needs as a household to agree the type of deal to get.

Ultimately, you should try to place your order at least two weeks before you need an internet connection. If your uni accommodation hasn’t had a Virgin Media connection before, this is how long it sometimes takes to get our broadband deals installed for students.
